Moro Hub hosts DIFC delegation to showcase digital infrastructure

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), hosted a delegation from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) at Moro Hub. The DIFC delegation was led by Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, and included Arif Amiri, Ahmad Albastaki, and Muath Al Kubaisy. The visit aimed to explore Moro Hub’s digital facilities and smart solutions in digital transformation areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, smart cities, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

The meeting was attended by key figures from Digital DEWA including Eng. Marwan Bin Haidar, Eng. Waleed Bin Salman, Abdul Nasser Abbas, and Mohammed Bin Sulaiman.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer stated: “In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum… we continue our efforts to cement Dubai’s position as a global hub for sustainable digital solutions… We are pleased to welcome the DIFC delegation and showcase our efforts in supporting Dubai’s drive to lead the digital economy…”

The visit featured a presentation on Moro Hub’s services across cloud hosting, cybersecurity, smart cities, IoT, and advanced digital solutions. This highlighted how Moro Hub supports public and private sector entities in their digital transformation aligned with UAE’s vision for sustainability.

Essa Kazim remarked: “Dubai’s ascent as a global hub for the future economy is underpinned by visionary partnerships… Our collaboration with Digital DEWA and Moro Hub exemplifies this approach…”

The delegation toured several facilities at Moro Hub including its Green Data Centre, Network Operation Centre (NOC), Security Operation Centre (SOC), and Smart Cities and IoT Command Centre. These visits demonstrated Moro Hub’s technological capabilities in providing secure and sustainable digital services.

The visit emphasized Moro Hub’s role in regional digital advancement through robust infrastructure and intelligent command centers.
