MRC Global’s subsidiary, MRC Transmark Middle East, has entered into a framework agreement with Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) to become one of SABIC’s primary valve suppliers for SABIC’s Saudi operations.

“We are grateful for the trust SABIC has placed in MRC Global with this agreement,”

MRC Global CEO and President Andrew Lane said. “We look forward to expanding upon our strong relationship and solid track record to support SABIC in one of the most important energy producing countries in the world.”

SABIC is headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is one of the world’s leading petrochemical companies. Operations in 50 countries include more than 60 manufacturing plants located in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

The agreement provides for MRC Global to supply valves to all 22 of SABIC’s production complexes in Saudi Arabia. MRC Transmark Middle East will initially support SABIC’s Saudi Arabian business from its regional distribution center in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

MRC Global is based in Houston and is the largest global distributor of pipe, valves, fittings and related products and services to the energy industry. For more information, visit www.mrcglobal.com.
