Eng. Abdulla Al Mehshadi, chief executive officer of Msheireb Properties, was named Best CEO at the recent Qatar Today Business Excellence Awards.

The awards were organized by the Qatar Chamber and Oryx Advertising Company.

“I am absolutely humbled by this award, and would like to accept it on behalf of all of my colleagues at Msheireb Properties,” Al Mehshadi said. “I feel very blessed to be in the position I am in, leading a world-class organisation, and in a role I could not fulfill without the support of each and every person at Msheireb.”

Al Mehshadi said Msheireb’s objective was “to change the way people think about urban living and to improve their overall quality of life, through innovations that encourage social interaction, respect for culture, and greater care for the environment.”

“Together we have had many accomplishments, most notably the continuing progress on the Msheireb Downtown Doha project,” he said. “As 2015 progresses we look forward to achieving many more milestones for the company on the path to supporting the Qatar National Vision 2030.”

Msheireb Downtown Doha covers 31 hectares with up to six basement levels and 101 buildings.
