Mubadala Development Company (Mubadala), an investment and
development company in Abu Dhabi, has announced a partnership with the Abu
Dhabi Tour, which will commence Oct. 20-23.

 

“Our partnership with Mubadala
comes at the perfect time as all eyes are focused on Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi
Tour,” Aref Al Awani, ADSC’s general secretary, said. “We are keen to have active
partnerships with government entities and departments in order to develop
community sports in Abu Dhabi.”

 

Through the partnership, Mubadala and the Abu Dhabi Tour
will encourage the UAE community to live an active lifestyle. The two
organizations will run community cycling competitions in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi,
which will lead into into and come after the Abu Dhabi Tour.

 

“Our partnership with Abu Dhabi
Tour aims to strengthen members of the community’s interest in cycling,
and encourage them to adapt a healthy and active lifestyle,” Khaled Al Qubaisi, group chief human capital officer
and community wellbeing ambassador at Mubadala, said. “We are delighted to be
part of this well-established event, and I am confident this will enhance our
current community outreach program.”
