Adeeb Al Blooshi, Dana Al Blooshi, Aisha Al Braiki and Saeed Al Nathari were chosen as Mubadala Youth Award winners at the recent Mubadala Youth Forum, which took place in Abu Dhabi; the forum and awards were sponsored by the Mubadala Development Co., which is an Abu Dhabi-based investment and development company.

Eleven-year-old Adeeb Al Blooshi was recognized as the youngest Emirati inventor for his contributions to the field of healthcare.

Dana Al Blooshi, 9, has already earned several certificates from NASA and has been involved in various programs in the fields of aeronautics and space administration.

Aisha Al Braiki, a university student and mother of two, was honored for excelling academically while maintaining a busy schedule of community work.

Saeed Al Nathari was selected as the first Global Ambassador of Arab origin by the Global Innovation Management Institute (GIM Institute).

“We are impressed with the calibre of nominations we have received for the Mubadala Youth Award for the second year running,” said Nadine Saleh Hassan, head of integrated marketing and outreach, Mubadala. “It is inspiring to see the passion our nationals have for the community and their drive to contribute to its progress, especially at such a young age.”

The theme for this year’s event was “From College to Career.” Hundreds of students, ages 17 to 25, from across the UAE attended. Attendees had the opportunity to meet with Emirati leaders and get information about programs at Mubadala-owned companies.

“It has been a pleasure interacting with some our nation’s brightest today, and hearing from my fellow speakers at the forum,” Laila Saif, human resources director of the Emirates Defence Industries Co., said. “I hope that by imparting some of the knowledge that I have gained in my own career development, I have provided some helpful insights to those making the transition from university to the job market.”
