Mumtalakat announces new General Manager for @bahrain

Mumtalakat, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding, named Benjo Vanlaarhoven as the new

general manager for tourism company @bahrain Oct. 12. 

Benjo will be responsible for working with key stakeholders in the private and public sectors.

“We are very pleased to have appointed Vanlaarhoven as General Manager of @bahrain,” Mumtalakat CEO Mahmood Hashim Al Kooheji said. “His wealth of experience in the travel industry will be instrumental in the launch and development of @bahrain, which will enable the company to be a catalyst in growing Bahrain as a travel destination and enhance Bahrain’s position as a tourism hub.”

Vanlaarhoven has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry and has played roles on corporate travels, managing corporate travel, leisure travel and MICE travels, while @bahrain aims to strengthen Bahrain as a tourist destination.
