A new community club is in the works at Dubai’s Jumeirah
Village Circle; according to Nakheel, it will add a pool, sports and restaurant center
to the rooftop of The Circle Mall.

The complex will include a swimming pool and
sundeck that overlooks the main community park, a restaurant that seats 300,
two tennis courts, a gymnasium and beautifully landscaped gardens.

The JVC Club is projected to open in 2018 and is the latest
amenity announced by Nakheel that will be added to the dining and recreation
hub that spans nearly 400,000 square feet. Approximately 25,000 people live in
JVC currently, with residency expected to top 300,000 when the community is
completely built.

“Nakheel continues to enhance its communities across Dubai
with facilities that people want and need,” a Nakheel spokesman said. “Our new
sports and social club at JVC will be a superb new feature at the Circle Mall
and hugely welcomed by residents and investors.”

The Circle Mall center alone will host 235 retail shops,
entertainment outlets, and restaurants throughout the three stories. Some of
the noteworthy attractions within the mall include, a multi-screen cinema,
Spinneys supermarket and a Faby Land family entertainment center. Cafes and
restaurants will offer shoppers a place to relax and refuel as they prepare to
shop for fashion, home goods and electronics. A mosque will also be located
inside the mall with the ability to host up to 300 people.

“At JVC there is already an emphasis on health, wellbeing
and outdoor space, with 33 landscaped parks with jogging tracks and children’s
play areas, spanning 4 million square feet in total,” the spokesman said. “The new club will further promote sports, fitness and social
interaction at this rapidly-growing community.”

JVC’s sister community, Jumeirah Village Triangle, located
just steps from the Circle Mall, will offer exclusive membership rates at the leisure
club at Nakheel’s new hotel at the Al Khail Avenue mall, set for a 2019 launch.

The hotel will be connected to Al Khail Avenue’s 350 shops,
restaurants and entertainment channels. Guests can enjoy a luxurious stay in
one of the 256 rooms that span 18 stories. Residents can take a break in the coffee
shop and lounge, relax by the pool deck, hit the gym, or grab a meal at the
all-day restaurant.
