National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) recently announced that 14 UAE nationals have entered into the company’s management trainee program.

The program, which is in its sixth year, is designed to help strong professional candidates receive training and career development opportunities. Those selected for the program go through an intensive, immersive 12-month journey that trains them in the classroom, gives them mentorship and puts them through job rotations. The goal is for graduates to excel in the banking sector.

Abdulla Aleter, NBF’s head of human resources, said that the bank remains committed to enhancing the program and developing a sustainable pipeline of Emirati leaders for the company.

NBF was recently awarded the Mark of Excellence for its nationalization efforts with an industry-leading ratio of 42 percent.
