Nestlé has renewed a contract with its Gulf-region logistics partner Mohebi, the Dubai-based logistics services company: the new seven-year contract will see Mohebi store, pick and pack both raw materials and finished products from Nestlé’s existing factory in Dubai’s Technopark.

Nestlé is building a new facility at Dubai World Central, which will also be served by Mohebi Logistics.

The Swiss manufacturing giant is the world’s largest nutrition, health and wellness company in the world, and it owes much of its continued success in the Gulf region to the partnership with Mohebi. The Emirati company provides not just logistical capabilities, but important knowledge of local markets and business practices.

Mohammed Mohebi, CEO of Mohebi Logistics, said both companies stand to benefit from the renewed cooperation.

“The renewed partnership allows us the opportunity to keep providing world-class facilities, leading edge services and highly trained personnel with in-depth local market knowledge,” Mohebi said. “We’ll continue to deliver on our promise to say what we do and do what we say.”

Yves Manghardt, chairman and CEO of Nestlé Middle East, said the partnership is key to the firm’s continued market growth in the Middle East.

“This professional hub will allow us to cater to the more specific needs of the region using the latest technology available,” Manghardt said. “We will also be able to further delight our consumers in the Middle East who will enjoy our products fresher and faster.”
