Nielsen Saudia Arabia recently announced a partnership with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an important business and service operation in the kingdom.

The first-of-its-kind collaboration, declared during an official signing ceremony at the Jeddah Chamber Building, will give Jeddah’s business community access to Nielsen insights from the company’s global surveys. Nielsen will help these businesses gain a deeper understanding of the Saudi consumer and, in turn, gain local insight through Jeddah’s economic gateway.

“We are honored to be working with an institution such as Jeddah Chamber, as well as for the opportunities this collaboration provides in terms of delivering new insights to its members,” Arslan Ashraf,

Nielsen’s managing director for the Arabian Peninsula, said. “We are looking forward to providing a better overview of the Saudi consumer and strengthening connections with the industry.”

Nielsen’s global surveys provide knowledge and understanding into Saudi Arabian consumer habits, as well as more than 60 countries around the globe.

“We’re looking forward for this collaboration to be a new source for more and better insights on the Saudi consumer,”

Jeddah Chamber

Secretary-General Adnan Mandourah said. “It will help us keep a pulse on consumers’ attitudes and behaviors, as well as receive indicators of future economic activities.”

The two organizations have united in the belief that their combined global and local expertise will contribute to the country’s development and progress.
