Nobu Hotel Riyadh adds four to executive management team

Nobu Hotel has named four key management executives for its upcoming luxury boutique hotel in Riyadh.

Designed by the Rockwell Group, the 23-story skyscraper will consist of 134 rooms and suites that are custom furnished with subtle Japanese and regional influences. Nobu Hotel Riyadh will be Saudi Arabia’s first luxury boutique hotel.

Timothy Magee, a 30-year hospitality veteran, was appointed the hotel’s director of finance.

Hana Al Toaimi, whose background in human resources spans more than 20 years, was named the director of human resources.

Amr Essa, with more than two decades of experience in rooms and food and beverage operations, was hired as the hotel’s director of rooms.

Ahmed Dahmash joins Nobu Hotel Riyadh as director of sales and marketing after a 25-year career in luxury hotel management.

“I am extremely delighted to welcome our experienced and talented executive managers to the hotel and I look forward to working with them in opening this very exciting hotel,” Nobu Hotel Riyadh General Manager Mark Carnazzola said. “With their appointments I know we will be able to deliver to our guests the distinctive and memorable luxury Nobu service with our valued colleagues; matching the quality and unique luxury facilities that the hotel will behold.”
