Oman Air said last week that Gold members in the airline’s Sindbad frequent-flyer program are getting two new privileges.

At Muscat International Airport, Gold members will be able to utilize the business-class check-in, and passengers in this class also will have access to the business-class lounge. The business check-in allows for the security-screening process to take place more quickly.

“We are constantly adding new benefits, privileges and offers to our Sindbad membership, and this latest move recognizes the high value we place on our most loyal and regular customers,” Oman Air Chief Operating Officer Abdulrahman Al-Busaidy said. “We look forward to offering our Gold members a warm Omani welcome as they make the most of these superb business-class services at Muscat.”

In the lounge, passengers have access to luxury offerings in the form of different meal options ranging from something small and quick to a full-scale a la carte experience. Message stations are also available.

Earlier this month, the airline was recognized as a leading airline in the Middle East in terms of business-  and economy-class travel offerings. World Travel Awards President Graham Cooke stated that the awards received by Oman Air signify excellence in service and the continuation of improving its products and services.
