Oman Air, known for its cultural stewardship, recently accepted
an invitation from Muscat-based College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS)
to jointly develop entrepreneurship among young Omanis as a gesture of
support for aspiring businesses.

The airline agreed to act as a strategic
partner during the school’s recent Youth Entrepreneurship Competition, which is dedicated
to motivating, preparing and supporting students for their future financial
careers. The competition winner was awarded the winner airline tickets to Dubai to visit a financial firm and network with local
financial leaders.

“We are pleased and proud to be supporting this important
initiative, in partnership with the College of Banking and Financial Studies,” Khalid bin Abdul Wahab al Balushi, Oman Air’s senior manager for government
affairs, said. “The continuing success and expansion of Oman’s economy depends on the
entrepreneurial flair of today’s students, who will go on to become the
business leaders of tomorrow.”
