A new agreement between Oman Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines
allows flyers to travel between Muscat and Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah or Medina.
The newly signed codeshare agreement provides flights from Muscat to the four
destinations in Saudi Arabia beginning June 29.
Oman Air utilizes Boeing 737s on services to Riyadh, Dammam
and Medina, and offers flights on the B737s, Airbus 300s, and Boeing 787
Dreamliners to those traveling to Jeddah. The airline offers double-daily
flights between Muscat and Jeddah as well as between Muscat and Riyadh. Up to
two flights each day are provided between Muscat and Dammam with flights each
day between Muscat and Medina.
Saudi Arabian Airlines operates the Airbus 320 on constant
flights from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Medina to Muscat each week.

Part of Oman Air’s strategic plan is to offer more flight
choices, convenience and easy connections to all customers. This codeshare,
along with a number of others with different reputable airlines, allows Oman
Air to expand its flights to roughly 75 destinations by 2020. The various
agreements between Oman Air and different airlines allows the company’s
frequent flyers to travel to a number of destinations that may not otherwise be
available, including Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia.
