Oman delegation to promote sultanate at meetings industry expo in Germany

Oman Ministry of Tourism Undersecretary Maitha Al Mahrouq is heading a ministry delegation to IMEX 2016, a global trade fair for the meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) sector that begins Tuesday in Frankfurt, Germany. 

IMEX 2016 will give the ministry the opportunity to showcase the sultanate to the MICE sector as an ideal destination in the region. It will also have discussions about the important services that the area offers as well promoting forthcoming projects.

Participating in the event this year will be the Oman Convention Bureau, which will lead all activities and products related to MICE in the tourism sector. Led by the Oman Convention Bureau Director Khalid Al Zadjali, the organization will work to enhance the sector by regulating processes and maintaining a strong atmosphere that will support all organizations hosting events in the sector.
