Oman Marketing Inc. will act as the think tank for the real estate and tourism sectors of the Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran).

The newly developed initiative was designed to help key players in the sales and marketing realms build engagement and new strategies that would improve and consolidate current marketing projects across the sultanate.

A summit will be held to kick off Oman Marketing Inc., featuring a series of events. Organizers hope to see interactive dialogue, collaborative efforts from both the real estate and tourism sectors and the birth of public relation campaigns to promote both segments of the company.

“In essence, we are all telling the story of Oman, its opportunities, beauty, the welcoming hospitality and stunning heritage and drive to secure premium high-quality real estate projects and tourism products,” Omran Head of Corporate Affairs Qais Al Hosni said. “We are all working towards communicating that same message across the different segments of the tourism industry, so it is vital that we as a sector are all aligned in regards to marketing and communication objectives.”

The Oman Marketing Summit 2016 will launch in March in Muscat. The event will include senior real estate and tourism leaders, ITC executives, hotels’ and resorts’ chiefs and sales and marketing executives, among many other high-ranking employees from the two industries. Participants will take part in concentrated workshops, panel discussions and specific briefings on the upcoming tourism and ITC real estate developments.

“Between the real estate and tourism players here in Oman, there is a wealth of knowledge, insights and innovative ideas,” Al Hosni said. “This summit provides the forum for us to capitalize on that knowledge and collaborate with each other to ensure the continual progress and success of the real estate and tourism sector as a whole.”
