The Oman Ministry of Tourism will have an exhibit at the Meetings Show, which will take place in London from July 7-9.

Other exhibitors from Oman will include Oman Air, Al Bustan Palace Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Chedi Muscat, Shangri-Barr Al JissLa’s ah Resort & Spa, Tour Oman, Bahwan Travels, and 1001 Events.

For the first time, Oman made the International Congress and Convention Association’s (ICCA) list of the top 100 countries in the world for the meetings and conventions industry. Additionally, the ICCA included Oman on its list of top 25 countries in the Asia Pacific-Middle East region.

During the Meetings Show, the Oman Ministry of Tourism will conduct a social media competition, giving away a pre-charged mobile phone charger to the first 40 visitors who mention the stand and post of photo of it on Facebook or Twitter.

The meetings and conventions industry in Oman is expected to continue to grow with the opening of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, scheduled for the first quarter of 2016.
