ONGC takes part in Kuwait Oil & Gas Show 2015

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) attended the Kuwait Oil and Gas Show (KOGS) 2015 from Oct. 12 to Oct. 14, showcasing the capacity of the Indian oil and gas sector.

Kuwait Minister of Oil Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Omair was responsible for opening the ONGC pavilion and echoed his nation’s interest in India’s gas and oil sector. In addition, during the event, the company committed to reducing India’s imports by 10 percent until 2020.

ONGC was founded in 1956. Its subsidiary ONGC Videsh Limited has developed 36 projects in 17 countries around the globe. In India, the company is responsible for 69 percent of crude oil and 70 percent of natural gas production.
