OPPLE Lighting and Al Manara recently teamed up for a seminar aimed at the Riyadh project lighting community, which was attended by more than 200 engineers and ministry officials in Saudi Arabia.

One of China’s largest industrial lighting manufacturers, OPPLE had numerous products and services available for the seminar participants to peruse. Al Manara, one the largest distributors of switches and lighting products in the Saudi Arabian market, also had its products out for attendees to experience.

DP Smedema, OPPLE’s general manager for the Middle East, said an upheaval in the industrial lighting industry means the company is poised to become one of world’s premier lighting brands.

“We are ready to take the vacancy as the new global A-brand, both within the region and globally,” Smedema said. “We welcome you to join us and watch us as we continue our expansion within the Saudi Arabian market with our partner Al Manara.”

Following an introduction by OPPLE Lighting and Al Manara, the attendees were invited to experience the products themselves, followed by dinner and a raffle. The attendees said they were most impressed by OPPLE Lighting’s global exposure, as well as strong project references in the Middle East and in European markets.

The event concluded with a farewell from both OPPLE Lighting and Al Manara’s management.
