Insurance company AXA Gulf said recently it is expanding its offerings and presence in the Gulf region. In the past few months, AXA Gulf representatives began offering yacht and pleasure craft insurance, which they announced at the Qatar International Boat Show. AXA Gulf also plans to open two new locations in The Pearl and Barwa City near Doha, Qatar, by the end of the year.

AXA Gulf, the Gulf region’s arm of the French multinational insurance agency, said it is expanding its services in Qatar to include yacht and pleasure craft insurance. AXA Gulf said the decision comes after years of steady growth in Qatar. AXA Gulf plans to open two offices in the Doha neighborhoods of the Pearl and Barwa City to meet the demand for maritime insurance.
