Chinese-based trailer manufacturer CIMC Vehicle Group will open a new facility in Bahrain to produce reefer trailers for export throughout the Middle East. "Bahrain was an easy choice for CIMC to launch its new manufacturing facility," CIMC Vehicle Group Chief Financial Officer Teresa Tan said. CIMC became interested in Bahrain through efforts of the Bahrain Economic Development Board.

Must World WLL, which produces and distributes high quality garments to famous brands in Europe and the U.S., recently said it is establishing a new regional head office in Bahrain. The Bahrain office will be an incorporated company that is expected to manufacture approximately 18 million garments every year and take care of $200 million worth of orders from the U.S.

Ion Exchange, an India-based company that is one of the largest providers of environment solutions in Asia, has announced the opening of a new chemical facility in Bahrain. The new facility will be built in the Bahrain Investment Wharf and will act as the export hub for chemicals for the surrounding regions and the North Arab states.

The festival is comprised of cultural events and activities including exhibitions, concerts and theatrical productions.

Indian water infrastructure company Electrosteel Castings has set up a warehouse in Bahrain. The $6.6 million facility will serve as a regional hub for sales and distribution activities related to water projects in northern Middle East markets. Electrosteel, which produces ductile iron pipes and ancillary products, received support from the Bahrain Economic Development Board.
