The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) recently showcased its corporate excellence initiatives at a special forum at Dusit Thani hotel in Abu Dhabi. ENEC CEO Mohamed Al Hammadi, Abu Dhabi Excellence Programme Director Yasir Ahmed Al Naqbi and representatives of more than 250 government agencies attended the forum, part of the Knowledge Forums initiative launched in 2014.

The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corp. and the Abu Dhabi Transmission & Despatch Company have reached an electrical transmission agreement this week. This connection and interface agreement (C&IA) will enable the future Barakah Nuclear Power Plant to deliver electricity to the United Arab Emirates grid. The Barakah nuclear plant is expected to be completed in 2020.
