The Petroleum Institute University and Research Center (PI) said it signed a technical research services agreement with Solvay Group that will allow it to establish an automated chemical enhanced oil recovery (EOR) formation laboratory in Abu Dhabi. The laboratory will replicate robotic technologies that Solvay developed in many of the world’s most challenging oilfields.

Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi to offer students IELTS English proficiency exam

The initiative will let students at the Petroleum Institute University and Research Centre take the IELTS exam at the Petroleum Institute campus in Abu Dhabi. The IELTS stands alongside the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test as the two most recognized exams for English language proficiency. Students can sign up to take the test beginning this month.
