Through a decree from United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA) under the UAE Cabinet has been formed.The new authority will be headquartered in Dubai and will take the places of the National Bureau of Statistics and the Emirates Competitiveness Council. It will perform functions of both bodies.
