Bensimon, the French lifestyle brand, is launching its iconic Bensimon canvas shoe collection in the Middle East for the first time.

The Parisian-designed shoes are to be available at Level Shoe District and House of Fraser outlets across the region.

The brand was launched in the 1970s by Serge Bensimon. The Parisian designer’s mission for the shoe brand was to combine basic simplicity with luxury. As such, the shoes are made out of basic fabrics and rubber, reminiscent of the American shoe brand, Converse.

Over more than thirty years manufacturing the comfortably stylish footwear, Bensimon has designed the shoes to always appear classic yet fashionable. That follows the company’s mission to make shoes that bring a “spirit of sharing, of a colorful vision of life, of passion for unique pieces and timeless products.”

Bensimon shoe designs are inspired by travel, culture and literature, with the brand’s collection of footwear attempting to reflect “the joy of living and the spirit to openness.”

The sneakers are made from 100 percent natural quality fabrics. The fabrics are rubbers are produced in Europe, with the colorful dyes and prints produced in France.

The casual-yet-stylish shoes are popular with celebrities like Liv Tyler, Jane Birkin and Naomi Watts.

Bensimon’s shoes are now on offer at Level Shoe District and House of Fraser outlets.
