A letter to King of Bahrain Hamad Al
Khalifa addressed the relationship between the kingdom and the Republic of
Uganda.

The letter was sent from the President of the Republic of Uganda,
Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and urged the development of bilateral relations between
the two nations.

Foreign Affairs Minister Khalid Al
Khalifa received the letter during his meeting with Dr. Rashid Ssemuddu, ambassador of Uganda to the kingdom of Bahrain and resident in the kingdom of
Saudi Arabia.

The minister noted the ambassador’s eagerness to build collaborative efforts
between the two sides, and stated his anticipation of working with the ambassador
to develop the relationship to better mutual interests.

He also thanked the ambassador
for his dedicated work in building up ties between the two countries.

The letter spoke to Ssemuddu’s eagerness to strengthen the
relationship between Uganda and Bahrain and his appreciation
for the minister’s support.

In closing, the ambassador wished the minister and
the people of Bahrain much success.
