Qatar Airways adds flights to multiple destinations

Qatar Airways recently added more flights to several destinations, including an additional flight on the Doha-Dubai route. 

Flights are being added to and from Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Peshawar, Pakistan; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Belgrade, Serbia; Sofia, Bulgaria; Asmara, Eritrea; Djibouti, Djibouti; Najaf, Iraq; Luxor, Egypt; Salalah, Oman; and Zanzibar, Tanzania.

Beginning July 16, the airline will offer one more daily flight on the Doha-Dubai route, bringing total daily flights on the route to 15. Flights to Middle East destinations also have been increased; a daily flight to Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was added on June 18.

Three new Pakistani destinations – Sialkot, Faisalabad and Multan – will be offered three times weekly beginning Oct. 1. Three additional flights to Kuala Lumpur are available now through Aug. 29. On Thursday, flights on the Sofia-Belgrade linked route increased from five to seven.

On Wednesday, the airline began offering five flights to Zanzibar each week via Kilimanjaro. Two more flights will be offered beginning Oct. 1.

Added flights to Africa include one additional weekly flight to both Asmara and Djibouto. Service to Luxor will increase with one more weekly flight effective from Nov. 1 to March 20, 2016.

Najaf will be serviced with two additional weekly flights beginning July 15 for a total of 10 weekly flights. On Sept. 18, four additional weekly flights will be launched to Najaf.

In addition, Qatar Airways will operate three more weekly flights to Salalah beginning Oct. 6.
