Qatar Airways’ world-class in-flight experience has been awarded the “Best Up In the Air” Experience award during the Future Global Travel Experience 2015.

“We are honored to receive this coveted award, particularly from an organization that is focused on the future of air travel,” Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker said. “Through our unparalleled amenities and our dedicated cabin crew, we continually strive to exceed today’s expectations and set new standards for tomorrow’s in-flight experience. And thanks to the dedication and hard work of our award-winning cabin crew, as exemplified by this accolade, our passengers and fans clearly agree.”

The “Best Up in the Air” Experience award focuses on how emerging technology and service will change the in-flight experience by 2025 while highlighting top airlines that are driving these advancements. Members of Qatar Airways cabin crew were in attendance to accept the award.

The illustrious award comes at a time when Qatar Airways is expanding and adding significant new direct routes between the United States and Hamad International Airport in Doha.
