Qatar Airways recently accepted the title of Best Middle
Eastern-African Airline at the 2016 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards in
Hong Kong.

This marks the seventh consecutive year that the airline has won the
prestigious award.

“We are extremely honored to be voted as the Best Middle
Eastern-African Airline for the seventh straight year,” Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker
said. “We would like to thank our loyal passengers for their
continued support and for giving us their vote of confidence. I would also like
to express my gratitude to all of our staff for their continued dedication to
delivering exceptional, award-winning, travel experiences and products to our
passengers.”

The award is one of many accolades won by the company in
recent months; it was named “Best For Business”
by Condé Nast Traveller readers, was ranked number one globally by AirHelp for
its quality and service, and was awarded the World’s
Best Business Class, Best Business Class Airline Lounge and Best Airline Staff
Service in the Middle East at the Skytrax 2016 World Airline Awards.

“It is my honor to receive the
award on behalf of Qatar Airways and to be recognized among Asia Pacific’s
best within the travel and hospitality industry,” Qatar Airways Vice
President of North Asia Paul Johannes, who represented the airline at the
2016 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards, said. “Asia is a core part of Qatar
Airways’ business and network, and we are privileged to remain an
airline of choice in the region. We will continue to work hard at exceeding our
travelers’ expectations.”
