Qatar Airways recently announced that it has signed an agreement with
FC Barcelona to remain its jersey sponsor through June 30, 2017.

“Three years ago, the joining of FCB and Qatar Airways was
truly history in the making, as this was the first time we entered into such a
landmark sports partnership,” Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker said. “We feel very proud of the milestones achieved by the
team during the last few years, and it is a great honor to have the opportunity
to remain standing side by side with the club. This new agreement shows the
world how strongly we stand behind FC Barcelona, and we look forward to a great
upcoming season together.”

Qatar Airways entered a partnership with FC Barcelona in
July 2013. Together, the organizations have conducted a multitude of
activations. FC Barcelona is featured in safety videos on the airlines.
Additionally, Qatar Airways has launched successful campaigns including “The
Land of FCB” and “The FCB Holiday” that build on the concept of “a team that
unites the world.”

One of the fastest-growing airlines in the world, serving
more than 150 destinations, Qatar Airways has helped FC Barcelona market its
brand and widen its fan base around the globe.
