Qatar’s Ministry of
Transport and Communications announced this week the start of the Conference on
Information Security in Financial Operations.

 

The event, hosted by Qatar
Central Bank in the presence of Prime Minister and Interior Minister Abdullah Al Thani, will focus on the challenges and infrastructure
improvements needed in the information security industry.

 

The event is taking place at
the Sheraton Doha Hotel. In attendance are executives from the banking and
financial sector along with experts in the field of information security, who
will be sharing their expertise on how to protect financial institutions from
security threats.
