The Qatar Chamber (QC) recently recognized several of its expatriate
employees as they concluded their work with the chamber.

General Manager Saleh al-Sharqi showed his appreciation for each employee by thanking them for their
hard work and dedication while serving the chamber and wished each of the workers
the best as they move forward with future endeavors.

“You were a typical example of cooperation and dedication,” he said.

The general manager also voiced the chamber’s continued commitment
to employing more Qatari young people, particularly woman, throughout the
different departments — to support the hiring of educated, experienced Qataris
and help those workers develop skills for future opportunities. While working
for the chamber, those employees will take part in continued education and
training to equip them for advancement in the workplace.

Finally, al-Sharqi highlighted the main vision of the chamber: to allow Qataris with ability and commitment to work toward achieving the
main goals of the organization. He noted that the chamber’s intentional focus
on youth and women and the growth of their skills mirrors the Qatar National
Vision 2030.

“QC gives great importance to women and support them, both
in the business community and the labor market,” al-Sharqi said. “The new
appointments took into account this aspect and included a number of women
cadres believing the importance of the role played by women in society.”
