Qatar Chemical wins Chevron Phillips Chemical President’s Award

Qatar Chemical Company (Q-Chem) said it recently received the President’s Award for Operational Excellence (OE) in the large
petrochemical manufacturing facility category of the 2015 Chevron Phillips
Chemical Company LLC award program.

Chevron Phillips Chemical presents the annual award to
the “best of the best” of its facilities and company affiliates. The award
honors great performance in safety, environmental awareness, product
stewardship, reliability and security. The company chooses winners from among
eligible facilities.

“Being bestowed with this prestigious award is a real
testament to the safety culture of the site and our employees and contractors,” Q-Chem CEO Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi said. “We are proud of this
significant accomplishment and wish to convey our deepest thanks and
appreciation for everyone’s strong effort in making outstanding Operational
Excellence performance one of Q-Chem’s strongest values.”
