Qatar Duty Free announces Millionaire Draw winner

Qatar Duty Free announced Sept. 21 that Sudish Sukumaran is the 20th winner of its $1 million prize in the Millionaire Draw held at Hamad International Airport in Doha.

Qatar Duty Free, a shopping emporium in Qatar’s state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport, also said that Abdullah Al Shareef won the drawing for a Bentley Continental GT Speed.

“When I received the announcement that I had won the prize I immediately called my wife and family to share the wonderful moment with them.” Sukumaran said. “I will save the money for my children’s education; I want them to have the opportunity to complete their academic studies at the best schools and universities available. Thank you Qatar Duty Free for this amazing opportunity.”

The Qatar Duty Free Millionaire Draw released 5,000 tickets for the drawing. Besides the 20 $1-million prizes,147 luxury cars have been won since 2006. Millionaire raffle tickets are also available online.
