Qatar Fuel (WOQOD) recently opened the doors to its 29th fuel and service station as part of the company’s strategy to grow its retail presence around Qatar.

WOQOD’s newest service station opened in the Bin Derham area of the Qatari capital of Doha. Its opening comes on the heels of a recent station opening in the Thakhira district of Al Khor, about 30 miles north of Doha.

WOQOD’s newly opened station has four drive-up lanes and eight fuel pumps. The station includes a Sidra convenience store and is open 24 hours a day to provide WOQOD fuelling services for the Al-Muntazah, Mansoora, Al Hilal, Najma and Musheireb communities.

“We are keen to leverage our growing network of service stations to support the rapid urban and economic development in Doha,” WOQOD Manager of Engineering Services Department

Ahmed Ali Mirza said. “The inauguration of the Bin Derham service station is in line with our strategic direction to enhance our operational capacity by establishing more service stations across Qatar that adds to the convenience of our customers.”

Mirza said the company has ramped up expansion efforts in order to keep up with rising demand for fuel service stations in Qatar. The Bin Derham station is the sixth station WOQOD has opened this year.

WOQOD
is slated to open six more fuel stations in the Gulf nation before the end of the year.
