The Qatar Handball Association (QHA) has again picked up the sponsorship of the Doha-based Qatar Insurance Company. The eight-month sponsorship runs through May.

“We are delighted to sign this strategic partnership agreement with QIC Group,” QHA President Ahmed Mohamed Shaabi. “As a national association, QHA is constantly committed to developing partnerships with major entities in Qatar to ensure that handball acts as an effective tool to bring people together and achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Qatar National Vision 2030 is a plan launched in 2008 with the goal of advancing sustainable development in the country.

“Renewing this partnership is yet another demonstration of our ongoing efforts towards corporate social responsibility (CSR),” Ali Al Fadala, senior deputy group president and CEO of QIC, said. “As always, we take pride in supporting the incredible sporting talent Qatar has and will support the QHA in its mission to create more athletic heroes and raise awareness in the arena of sports and sporting events.”
