Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Qatar’s deputy prime minister and minister of state
for cabinet affairs, recently met with Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muraikhi, the United Nations secretary general’s envoy for humanitarian affairs, to discuss cooperation between Qatar and the UN.
The meeting focused on examining a variety of ways the two parties could cooperate on humanitarian aid. The deputy prime minister and minister of state
for cabinet affairs also wished the UN envoy success in his duties,
noting the importance of developing humanitarian work across the region and
globe.
