His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of QatarEnergy, engaged in talks with senior executives from leading Chinese energy companies. The meetings took place on the sidelines of the World Gas Conference in Beijing.

Minister Al-Kaabi met individually with Mr. DAI Houliang, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), Mr. ZHOU Xinhuai, President of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), and Mr. MA Yongsheng, Chairman of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec).

The discussions centered around enhancing current and future cooperation and bilateral relations within the energy sector.

Minister Al-Kaabi was accompanied by a high-level delegation during these meetings.
