The Qatar Chamber was represented by honorary treasurer Ali Al Misnad at the International Conference to support Economy and
Investments in Tunisia, held in Tunisia Nov. 30.

The event was overseen by Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, emir of the state.

The two-day event attracted attendees from 70 countries around
the world, as well as several companies and organizations from across the globe.

Large-scale projects and various economic possibilities within Tunisia
were displayed at the event, titled “Tunisia: Reforms and Investment
Opportunities.”

Al Misnad commented on his participation in the forum, noting
the chamber’s eagerness to attend due in part to Qatar’s strong economic ties
with Tunisia.

“It is doing a key
role in strengthening cooperation ties between businessmen of both sides and
reviewing partnerships between them,” he said in reference to the
Qatari-Tunisian Business Counsel.
