QatarEnergy has signed a long-term agreement with ENEOS Corporation, a leading refining and petrochemical company in Japan. Under the terms of the deal, QatarEnergy will supply up to 9 million tons of naphtha over a period of 10 years, starting from July 2024.

His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of QatarEnergy, commented on the agreement: “This agreement builds on our successful and long-standing relationship with one of our valued Japanese partners. We look forward to creating more value and opportunities for the mutual benefit of both parties and to further strengthen our partnership.”

The agreement marks the largest and longest commitment between QatarEnergy and ENEOS Corporation in over ten years of collaboration. ENEOS Corporation is recognized as Japan’s largest refining and petrochemical company. It operates under ENEOS Holdings, Inc., which has been active in refining, manufacturing, and selling petroleum products since its establishment in 1888 as Nippon Oil Corporation.
