The staff of the Ritz-Carlton in Bahrain has prepared for a major Ramadan celebration by offering hospitality and personalized services for guests during the holy month.

Two dining venues, the Glow Ramadan Lounge and Al Khayma Ramadan Tent, have been created for the occasion and will be open from sunset to sunrise. Both will feature a variety of traditional Bahraini cuisine.

The Glow Ramadan Lounge features a 13-meter high, dome-shaped paviliion along with see-through verandas for skygazing. A large dining area with oversized seats can accommodate 200 guests. The focal point of the venue is the Glow, an avant-garde display that will change daily and showcase the most leading-edge engines.
Food choices will include kushari, ouzi, shawarma, lekemet and kham, along with an Arabic sushi line and the Halwa- or dried fruits-flavored macaroon collection.

Al Khayma will feature a maze of lights and color. The tent’s decor was inspired by the oriental souk of Fez. Guests will walk through an alley of hanging lanterns before entering the tent, which features long, turquoise and gold drapes, crystal chandeliers and hanging light spheres, a fanoosh wooden cage, and a tree of lights.

The buffet spreads will offer tajines, masbooj, saffron rice, falafel rolls and five varieties of dates — khedri, khloas, segai, sokari and bahri. Live cooking stations will feature saj bread, shanaad or sheeri Bahraini grills, fresh pasta, pad thai noodles, tandoori meats and fresh fruit carving.

Beverages at the venues will include karkadeh, vimto, laban, apricot or tamarind drink and jellab.

During fast-breaking, guests will enjoy comforts and dedicated service of their own private pergola for Iftar and Ghabgha, including silver service of selected hot buffet items and three complimentary shishas.

An Al Khayma instrumental band will peform throughout.
