More than 6,000 children who live in refugee camps or other marginalized areas will benefit from a one-year grant agreement with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFD), Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced recently.
The grant will support the PACES foundation, which will train 6,220 children between the ages of 7 and 16 through health, hygiene, sports and educational programs. The children live either in refugee camps or troubled areas of Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan.
The QFD said the grant will help children expand their skills, provide capacity-building for trainers, and deliver advanced courses on financial
management to local partners.
