Representatives from Qatar, Russia meet to discuss growing economic relations

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation recently
met with the Qatari-Russian Business Council to examine methods for growing
economic relations. 

The council also discussed investment opportunities available
for both sides.

The Qatar Chamber released a press statement in which it
announced that the meeting involved establishing business partnerships between
Qatari businessmen and Russian counterparts in various industries and fields.
The meeting itself was part of a larger framework of meetings of the Qatari
Russian Joint Committee, which was held in Moscow from June 1 to 3.

Fifteen businessmen and representatives of companies acted as the
Qatari delegation to the meeting. Qatar Chamber Vice Chairman Mohammed al Kuwari chaired the delegation.
