Shop Bahrain, the largest annual retail initiative in the kingdom, is in full swing — and Enma Mall in Riffa is participating as one of the month-long event’s Gold Mall sponsors.

Shop Bahrain began on Dec. 24 and will run through Jan. 23. A calendar of associated events and detailed information about the festival can be found online at www.shopbahrain.com.

“Shop Bahrain is an important initiative that encourages residents to shop locally, as it is a unique opportunity to showcase and experience the kingdom’s heritage, shopping and hospitality,” Sarah Al Attar, Enma Mall’s marketing manager, said. “We look forward to joining the excitement of the festival’s unique 30-day celebration with our customers.”

During Shop Bahrain, visitors to the Enma Mall will be offered many deals, including at the shopping center’s Geant Hypermarket and family entertainment center Magic Planet. The mall will also host special Kid’s Cinema events Jan. 14 through 16 and 12 through 23 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., during which cartoons and Disney movies will be shown.

Shoppers are awarded points for purchases at participating businesses and shopping centers. At Gold Mall locations like Enma Mall, shoppers receive three points for every Bahraini dollar spent; more points mean more chances to win prizes.

“We are pleased to have the participation of various malls from across the kingdom, especially Enma Mall,” Shop Bahrain Project Director Nawaf Al Koheji said. “We aspire that this partnership will provide a fun-filled shopping experience to shoppers while enjoying Shop Bahrain activities.”
