Representatives from two dozen countries are expected in Saudi Arabia this week for the Saudi Print & Pack conference and trade show, looking that will look to create new partnerships in the plastics and petrochemical industries.

The Saudi Print & Pack, Plastics and Petrochemicals Exhibition, sponsored by Riyadh Exhibition Company Ltd, began Monday in Riyadh and joins local and international interests to present and discuss industry trends and opportunities in packaging, plastics and printing.

“The Saudi Print & Pack, Plastics & Petrochemicals Exhibition is the largest industrial event in the Middle East, the polymers field in particular, and provides unique opportunities to communicate at all levels which will support the growth and development of polymers products and the industrial manufacturing, especially in the kingdom, thus accommodating the localization of this industry and of its technical support and development of the Saudi workforce … to sustain the growth of this promising market, which is compatible with the goals of our government,” Advanced Petrochemical Company

Chain General Manager Ahmed Bu-Hazza said.

Exhibition organizers expect the 24 participating countries to represent more than 520 companies. Participants include Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Morocco, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.
