SABIC, a major company in the chemical industry, presented its latest material solutions at K 2025. The company organized its exhibit into five main areas: Live, Move, Work, Shop, and Care. This approach highlights how SABIC’s technologies are present in daily products and routines.

Sami Al-Osaimi, Executive Vice President of Polymers Business at SABIC, stated: “Visitors to K show can see that our products can help enhance everyday life by seamlessly integrating our cutting-edge material solutions, technology and consumer-centric approach. We help enable electrification, foster design freedom, advance recyclability, and support the increasing demand for renewable energy solutions, all contributing to the evolution of products used daily by consumers, businesses, and industries around the world.”

In the Move section of its display, SABIC highlighted its BLUEHERO initiative. This program focuses on electric vehicles (EVs) and charging systems by offering materials for EV battery systems, power electronics, and charging infrastructure. The company also introduced MEGAMOLDING as a new platform aimed at producing large thermoplastic parts for electric vehicles.

For the Shop and Care sections, SABIC showcased end products from its TRUCIRCLE portfolio. These include polymers made with certified bio-renewable feedstock that may reduce carbon footprints compared to traditional options. Additionally, solutions using certified circular feedstock are designed to promote plastics circularity by keeping used plastic within production cycles.

The company emphasized collaboration across value chains through these initiatives as it seeks to address evolving needs in product development for both consumers and industries.
