At the upcoming K 2025 event, SABIC, a leader in the chemical industry, is set to introduce new solutions aimed at enhancing products used in everyday life. This aligns with SABIC’s theme for this edition: “Connecting Everyday Life.”

Sami Al-Osaimi, Executive Vice President of the Polymers Business at SABIC, expressed enthusiasm about showcasing these innovations. “We are excited to present products that enhance everyday life by seamlessly integrating our cutting-edge material solutions, technology and consumer-centric approach,” he stated. He emphasized the company’s role in enabling electrification, promoting design freedom, advancing recyclability, and utilizing renewable materials and energy.

The exhibition will feature five core experience areas across different markets: live, move, work, shop and care.

In the ‘Live’ area, visitors can explore how SABIC materials contribute to modern appliances and devices that improve home life through enhanced energy efficiency and connectivity.

The ‘Move’ section will highlight advancements in transportation materials for road, rail, and air travel. Exhibits will demonstrate how thermoplastics can facilitate design freedom while supporting circularity goals.

In the ‘Work’ area, attendees can see how SABIC’s solutions are used in infrastructure components like pipes and high-voltage cables that support renewable energy networks.

The ‘Shop’ section focuses on circular polymers made from recovered ocean-bound plastic and bio-renewable polymers designed to reduce carbon footprints while offering functionality and convenience.

Lastly, the ‘Care’ area showcases SABIC’s healthcare product portfolio aimed at improving patient care with novel applications such as drug delivery systems and personal protection equipment.
