Several sanctions have been imposed against
the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea after its latest nuclear test.

The
sanctions, set by the international Security Council’s Decision No. 2321, are
supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the kingdom of Bahrain.

The ministry notes that the unanimous
decision speaks to the gravity that the world places on illegal nuclear
activities. Such nuclear threats can be dangerous to the region and impose a
threat to international countries.

The Security Council’s decision is an
important one in working toward preventing nuclear war and the storing of
weapons of mass destruction, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

However, there is still work to be done. All countries must acknowledge the
threat that comes with the use of nuclear materials and agree to comply with the
measures that regulate such use.
