Prince Mohammed bin Naif Saud, Saudi Arabia’s vice custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, chaired a cabinet session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh to detail discussions held with
Somalia and Greece.

King Salman, the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, had met with President Mohammed
Abdullah Farmajo of Somalia and President Prokopios Pavlopoulos of Greece. Saud
briefed the cabinet on the outcome of those talks. He also spoke about the
outcomes of meetings held in Iraq by Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister. Al
Jubeir had met with numerous officials in the country to affirm treaties
between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

Another topic of conversation at the meeting was a discussion about the resumption of Syrian
negotiations in Geneva, which the cabinet hopes will lead to a
ceasefire and a political solution.

The cabinet
also approved a scientific cooperation agreement with Belarus, authorized an
exchange of news between the Saudi Press Agency and Indonesian and Malaysian
news agencies, examined cooperation agreements with Kyrgyzstan and Russia about
combating crime and approved a memorandum of understanding with Afghanistan
for cooperating on judicial and legal affairs.
