Saudi Aramco exec addresses Renewable Energy Investment Forum 2017

Saudi Aramco said in a recent release that acting Senior Vice President – Downstream Abdulaziz Al-Judaimi participated in a panel discussion during Saudi Arabia’s Renewable Energy Investment Forum 2017 and spoke about the company’s role in diversifying energy sources.

“Saudi Aramco’s participation in the forum stems from its crucial role in diversifying the kingdom’s energy mix through various projects and initiatives that aim at promoting the use and adoption of renewable energy to reduce emissions and to achieve a better environmental performance, while meeting the kingdom’s future energy demand,” Al-Judaimi said in a press release.

Saudi Aramco said it has reached milestones for renewable energy and has integrated solar PV and solar CPV into its current facilities. This includes the development of one of the largest solar carport systems in the world.
